If you've tried other hock shields that slip, twist, or fall off before they can do any good, Happy Hocks were designed with you in mind. Our crossover silicone-sided elastic bands grip without squeezing, keeping the shields in place through lying down, getting up, and rolling.
Unlike neoprene hock shields that trap heat and moisture against healing skin, Happy Hocks are made with breathable rip-resistant fabric. Your horse's hocks get the airflow they need to heal while staying protected from friction, abrasion, and insects.
The padded shields are shaped to the hock joint, allowing natural movement without restricting your horse. They're machine washable and air dry in about 30 minutes, so you can clean and reuse them the same day.
